well the first race of the year is in the books. the start of the night was a little scary.we started last in the heat.on the start the guy beside us jumped tires with the guy in front of him.that sent him right at us & then he took a wild flip.just missing us. the restart was a little better.made our way to 2nd by lap 7.on the last lap the leader blew up handing us our first win of the year. we started 7th in the feature.from the start we fell back at least 4 spots, being too cautious. but went forward once we found our rhythm.finished 4th. over all a great first race..... next up humberstone...fingers crossed no rain please later pietzy

well race number 2 has been and gone..now i wish it had rained. the night started out great. we won our heat. but it was down hill from there on.... in the redraw we..i drew the worst pill possible. starting 12th. a couple laps in i tried a move on the high side and almost rolled the car. bringing out the caution. on the restart i started last. they tell me i had made up a lot of ground. i was up to i think 8th when the car i was passing made a crazy move to the high side. in doing so he hit me and wiped the front axle out of the car. at 100 mph you can guess the outcome.....i hit the wall so hard the rear axle actually split in 2..that was the end of our night and our beautiful new car....now the thrash is on to put together something for next week...

OK race 3 and 4 are in the books. back up to ohsweken on friday we had a great run. lead 18 of 20 lap's. wrong 18 though Lil.settled for 2nd place. rained out on Saturday.the cynical part of me thinks they were hoping to rain that race out. then on Sunday we were at humberstone. the track surface there is still giving them a hard time.we started outside pole.lead the first couple lap's until jim price crashed with zanchin putting them both on their lids.on the restart i hit the ruts way too hard and lost 2 spots before i got a hold of it.i chased down and was passing 2nd place when the driver drove into & over the front end of my car.i managed to save the spin and carry on without losing a spot. but the car was damaged. the front wing was torn off.what a hand full. we finished 4th.. and karma hit the jack ass who climbed into me. he ran out of fuel back to oshweken this friday.. see ya at the races....

Hey Pietzy, alot of people were there that night and I'm sure the 2nd place ran over your front wheel. Last time I checked there were no rear view mirrors in a sprint car. Like the track officials said IT WAS YOUR FAULT.

I don't have to get the video because all the officals and owners of the track already stated what I just did. Maybe you should think before you speak. You were BEHIND him not beside, you were trying to stick your nose where you know there was no room. You tried a move and it back fired on you. Sorry not every one can be Mr.Humberstone like you. And I do remember your first year in a sprint car!! Do we have to go there!!!! I don't think it was all that good.

OK and moving on race #5 is in the books. man what a change in the weather.ohsweken speedway was awesome. maybe to awesome..when the track is that good & heavy every one is fast..kinda cool doing wheelies on the straight aways.. the motor was a little off due to the high humidity but i guess everyone had the same thing to deal with..we were up to 4th but got caught up with lap traffic and lost a spot. we finished 4th. good racing all around. this friday back up to oshweken speedway on friday and than back to humberstone sunday.. it looks like humberstone,s surface has gotten alot better.. see ya at the track.....

laffs ya the photographer is awesome..those throw away cameras are great... that wreck was way too close.... and on to race #6..mother nature scores another win...i think the pregnant dog cheats. just as we finished our heat race the skies opened up..big time..the track really wasn't ready to be raced on. very wet & heavy.we finished third.i think the show will be totally redone at another date.. next we go back to humberstone..have to see if Howard managed to use some of his magic and get the track to stay down.. later...

well race number 7 is in the books. with the help of Howard Schram and Pete Bicknell the track at humberstone finally stayed flat..BUT man was it dry slick...and did i miss the set up huge..started on the pole in the heat and thanks to a caution coming out just as i was sliding off the end of the track, i managed to hold on for the win..a draw inverted the top 8 cars for the feature starting me 8th. i was up to 3rd at the last lap but got passed on the last corner and settled for 4th.back to the drawing board for dry slick set ups..not sure what we missed but we missed it a ton... next up oshweken this thursday with the world of outlaw late models..should be a cool show later....
